Best Casino Slots – Part 4
By: Victor H. Royer
As promised, in this issue – and the following issues – I will now write a little more about some of the favorite slots that my readers have told me they like to play, and later also show you some of the great new slots that are about to be released. In this issue, I present: Dirty Harry: Make My Day video slot machine from WMS.
This is the thrilling new Make My Day video slot machine from WMS, based on the Dirty Harry movies, starring Clint Eastwood.
Dirty Harry: Make My Day
I own a collection of most of Clint Eastwood’s movies, on DVD, among which is the complete collection of the famous Dirty Harry films. In the early 1970s Clint Eastwood was a major movie star – as indeed he continues to be to this day – and, among his many credits, became the iconic star of a series of films based on the fictional San Francisco police officer Harry Callahan, dubbed “Dirty Harry”. In the first of these movies came the memorable line “Make my day!” and that is the title of this great new video slot machine from WMS, in the Sensory Immersion Gaming format.
The game is a multiline video slot machine that features several different bonuses, which I will describe in a moment. But one of the most interesting things about this particular game – as opposed to others – is the fact that the background against which the reels are spinning is not a static display, but is instead a video virtual tour of the streets of San Francisco which are so integral to the movie series upon which the slot machine is based. It is indeed an incredible ride, especially when you get into the helicopter bonus, as well as the other bonuses in which you are after criminals. So, without further ado, here’s some more information about this great video slot machine from WMS:
Dirty Harry Make My Day
A new offering in the Sensory Immersion Gaming category showcases a modern day hero who fights for the rights of the people - Dirty Harry®. Come along with Inspector Callahan on a thrilling high speed chase through the streets of San Francisco as you pursue criminals while dodging cable cars and gunfire. See, hear and feel every shot, swerve, bump and crash thanks to the next generation graphics on the CPU-NXT®2 processor and the Bose® 3 Space® Surround Sound gaming chair. Take your shot at credit values, top box awards and a jackpot, and you'll never have to ask yourself: "Do You Feel Lucky"?
Spotlight Feature
At times, a police helicopter will fly by and buzz the reels. If the Spotlight Symbol lands on the fifth reel when this occurs, the Spotlight Feature is triggered.
When the Spotlight Feature triggers, the helicopter returns and turns the spotlight Symbol and up to four other reel symbols wild.
Make My Day Bonus
Three scattered Make My Day Symbols, with max lines played, triggers the bonus. Three scattered symbols playing at less than max lines offers a selection of police cars. The selected car can reveal a credit value or start the bonus.
In the bonus, the player chooses one of four targets for Harry to shoot at. If the shot hits, the criminal's vehicle swerves into credit values or into objects for larger credit awards. Sometimes on a hit, coins will spill out of the vehicle and award additional credit values. On a miss, the criminal may shoot back at Harry. If the criminal shoots and disables Harry's car, the bonus ends.
If the criminal's vehicle swerves into a Catch Symbol, the criminal is caught and the top box shows an additional award or double bonus associated with that criminal. A new chase then begins.
And so this is the story of this new video slot machines from WMS. Want to give it a try? Go ahead, make my day!
More on the world of the great new slots in future issues.
