Best Casino Slots – Part 12

In this issue – and the following issues – I will now write a little more about some of the favorite slots that my readers have told me they like to play, and also show you some of the great new slots that are now available in your favorite casino. In this issue, I present Buffalo™, by Aristocrat, and a short description of the game and how to play it.
Stampede of Wins!
Buffalo™ is one of the new generations of REEL Power slots from Aristocrat, this one in the Xtra Reel Power series. I will write more about Reel Power and Xtra Reel Power games, and what this means, in my new book, scheduled for release in April 2010. For now, here is a description of the game, and how it plays:
All wins begin with the left-most reel, and pay left to right only on adjacent reels, except the scatters. The “Coin” symbols are the “scatters”, and they pay in any position. The “Sunset” symbol substitutes for all symbols, except the scattered Coins, and appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 only. The other symbols on the game are: Buffalo, Eagle, Cougar, Wolf and Elk.
The game is available in a range of denominations, from 1-cent credits and up. The max-bet options are at 200, 400 and 800 credits, depending on the machine and it’s specifications. You can find out all about this very easily, simply by looking at the Help Menu and Game Play and Denominations screens on the machine. Usually, in the penny games, 200 credits will be the max-bet.
Free Games Bonus Feature
You can win 8, 15 or 20 free games, which are awarded when 3, 4 or 5 scattered Coin symbols appear anywhere in the screen. During the free games each Sunset symbol -- that appears anywhere on reels 2, 3 or 4 -- will multiply the total win for that spin by either a factor of 2 or 3. The Bonus Feature can be won again during the bonus rounds. In addition, 5 extra free games are awarded if any 2 scattered Coin symbols occur during any free game. The reels selected and the bet multiplier during the feature are the same as those on the game that started the feature. Basically, whatever value of the bet you played before hitting the bonus feature will be the amount used for your wins during the bonus rounds. There are also unique sounds that accompany the Bonus Feature, as well as the base game.
