Volcano
A Las Vegas signature attraction, the Volcano at The Mirage has mesmerized spectators with its thunderous display since 1989. The volcano unleashes its fury at the top of each hour every evening in front of The Mirage. The earth shakes while flames shoot into the night sky. Smoke and fire spray 100 feet above the waters below, transforming a tranquil waterfall into spectacular streams of molten lava.
The volcano is situated on three water-covered acres and is 54 feet high.It circulates 119,000 gallons of water per minute.
Hours: Open daily on the hour, may be cancelled due to inclement weather or high winds.
Spring Hours • 7:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
Summer Hours • 8:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
Winter Hours • 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
