This exciting tour begins by flying over the beautiful Lake Las Vegas, Lake Mead, the world famous Hoover dam and Fortification Hill, an extinct volcano. View the breathtaking scenery and wildlife of the southwest along the way.
Maverick Helicopters will descend and land in the Hualapai Indian Territorym 3,500 feet into the Grand Canyon. Champagne, beverages and a light snack will be served some 300 feet above the mighty Colorado River surrounded by one of the great natural wonders of the world.
The excursion then journeys back through the Grand Canyon and lands on at the West Rim where you will enjoy spectacular views along Eagle Point and receive a brief introduction to the Hualapai Indian legends and culture. Guano Point, a breathtaking observation spot overlooking the Grand Canyon will follow.
The Grand Canyon Skywalk, the new glass bridge attraction is an optional activity on this tour and can be purchased directly through Maverick Helicopters. Additional activities can be arranged when you arrive by visiting the concierge desk.
The return trip from the West Rim will depart heading back towards Vegas through the Bowl of Fire and conclude with a flight over the Las Vegas Strip.
