INKA Peruvian Restaurant
I am very happy that I took Antonio’s offer, the INKA SI SENOR Restaurant is excellent. That would be a three star recommend for those who want to try some thing different but not strange. We started off with a cold delicious Peruvian beer Pilsen, a light bodied beer that goes excellent with everything I ate. The first dish was Papa A La Huancaina, which is a boiled potato dish smothered in a cold lightly spicy cheese sauce. For history’s sake it is worth mentioning that the potato originated in Peru.
I thought I was finished by the time I finished the Ceviche but Antonio had ordered one other dish for me, Camarones Al Ajillo. They brought a small iron skillet filled with shrimp, olive oil, wine and enough sautéed garlic to keep away the average vampire. The dish was perfect! INKA Restaurant is a very big place and could easily hold a large party in it’s relaxed but contemporary décor. The service was excellent and probably even better since I had a true Peruvian as my escort. Never the less I am sure they will take care of you as well. It is about a ten-minute cab ride from the Strip and has all the major meat groups represented on the menu and enough sides that most true vegetarians can fill up on some authentic Peruvian recipes. 2797 S. Maryland Parkway
