Las Vegas Restaurants: Golden Steer Steakhouse on the Strip
Golden Steer Steakhouse
Las Vegas' oldest steakhouse and its third-oldest restaurant. The decor
will remind you of a Gay Nineties bordello crossed with a Dodge City
saloon, but the steaks will tell you you're in a genuine Old West beef-eatin'
emporium. Large, perfectly grilled steaks, huge baked potatoes, a caesar
salad prepared tableside, and western memorabilia lining the walls make
the Steer the coolest steak place in town. Unlike the others, there's
no big-city folderol to distract you, just constant reminders of the
Old West origins of the town and this bygone era. Just remember, pilgrim,
to bring your wallet.
