Twelve Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas Restaurants Proudly Take Part In Three Square’s Restaurant Week Plus Special Bacchanal Buffet Kick-Off Celebration

Join Three Square Food Bank and Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace as they celebrate the buffet’s first birthday by hosting the official Fall 2013 Restaurant Week kick-off event.  The event will feature a formal, five-course prix-fixe dinner with expertly-paired wine selections with each dish. This unique event will allow Bacchanal Buffet’s team of classically trained chefs to showcase their exceptional culinary skills in a more intimate environment and provide guests with a one-time opportunity to experience this specially-crafted menu at an exclusive dinner to support a worthy cause. Bacchanal Buffet redefined the Las Vegas buffet experience when it opened with more than 500 items prepared fresh daily; the restaurant continues to do so with special events unheard of in traditional buffets. The dinner will conclude the resort-wide food drive Caesars Palace is holding from August 8-21, 2013. Proceeds from the food drive and dinner will be donated to Three Square Food Bank, the only food bank serving Southern Nevada.

The kick-off birthday dinner will take place Aug. 22 with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. Space is limited and the cost to attend is $125 plus tax and gratuity. This is the first time in the seven-year history of Restaurant Week that Three Square has partnered with a buffet, making the kick-off dinner an even rarer and exciting experience for attendees. Throughout its first year, Bacchanal Buffet has been named the Best Buffet in Las Vegas by USA Today, Las Vegas Review Journal, Eating Las Vegas and Las Vegas Weekly, amongst receiving other honors.

Restaurant Week returns to provide tourists and locals the opportunity to afford-ably dine at some of Caesars Entertainment’s most popular restaurants while also fighting to end hunger in the Las Vegas valley through a partnership with Three Square Food Bank. Twelve participating Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas restaurants have prepared specially designed menus at a discounted price in participation of Fall 2013 Restaurant Week.

Restaurant Week will begin on August 23, 2013 and run through August 30, 2013. Guests who take advantage of special Restaurant Week menus will contribute to this great effort with a portion of proceeds from the sale benefiting Three Square. For every $1 raised, Three Square provides three meals for hungry children and elderly persons in Southern Nevada. All 12 participating Caesars Entertainment restaurants have pledged to donate $5 for every meal purchased during this week-long event. This means each meal purchased from a participating Caesars Entertainment restaurant will contribute 15 meals to those in need.

All participating restaurants will feature a minimum of a three-course meal. Breakfast options will be priced at $20.13, lunch options will be priced at either $20.13 or $30.13 and dinner options will be priced at $30.13, $40.13 or $50.13. Participating restaurants include:

Mesa Grill at Caesars Palace, Bobby Flay’s acclaimed flagship restaurant featuring vibrant southwestern cuisine, will offer both lunch and dinner menus. This year’s three-course dinner menu includes a variety of Flay’s famous dishes such as grilled chicken with hot red pepper garlic sauce and fresh corn tamale with jalapeño pesto butter, Florida black grouper with sweet corn and blue succotash and grilled center cut pork chop with a roasted garlic and habanero sauce. Lunch and dinner menus are value-priced at $30.13 and $50.13, respectively. Since 2011, Mesa Grill has been Fall Restaurant Week’s top Gold Plate Donor, a rewarding achievement earned year after year for raising the most funds in their category as part of Three Square’s largest annual fundraiser.

Rao’s at Caesars Palace has been called a “culinary national treasure,” widely acclaimed for its authentic, southern Neapolitan Italian cooking and home-style family ambiance. The dinner menu features three courses for $50.13 and includes a choice from its famous selection of menu items including pork chop with hot and sweet cherry peppers and Uncle Vincent’s Famous Lemon Chicken. The dessert course includes a choice of New York style cheesecake, tiramisu or peanut butter tart.

Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, Gordon Ramsay’s take on an English pub experience in Las Vegas, which opened at Caesars Palace in December, will offer a three-course lunch menu for $30.13 with a selection of the restaurant’s signature dishes. The menu will feature a choice of onion soup or Caesar salad to start, sautéed Scottish salmon or braised pork belly for an entrée and sticky toffee pudding or potted chocolate trifle for dessert.

Martorano’s, created by famed Cook Steve Martorano, serves traditional Italian-American favorites in a contemporary space inside the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. The three-course dinner menu is priced at $50.13 and includes some of the restaurant’s most popular items including Eggplant Short Stack with vine ripened tomatoes and homemade mozzarella, rigatoni Sunday pork gravy with San Marzano tomatoes, fresh pork and ricotta cheese, as well as dessert options of homemade cannoli and tiramisu.

Rounding out the exceptional list of participants are Payard Pâtisserie and Bistro and Serendipity 3 at Caesars Palace; KGB: Kerry’s Gourmet Burgers at Harrah’s Las Vegas; Center Cut Steakhouse at Flamingo Las Vegas; Burger Brasserie, Le Provencal and Café Ile St. Louis at Paris Las Vegas; Bally’s Steakhouse at Bally’s Las Vegas.
