    A. The AccessVegas.com family of Las Vegas information sites has grown to over 400,000 unique monthly visitors and an opt-in (completely by request, no list rentals) weekly newsletter subscriber rate of 50,000+ readers. Our numbers continue to climb every month. As an independent site, our visitors are extremely loyal to the information we present to them.

    Q. You already list information about us. Why should we bother buying advertising?

    If you aren't taking advantage of our inexpensive, cost-effective (and easy to budget justify) advertising, every single person who books at our site is going through a broker or wholesaler, costing you commission or discounting.     We could go on, but the truth is that we have optimized for hundreds and hundreds of specific search topics regarding Las Vegas. More importantly, people bookmark us and subscribe to our newsletter because they find exactly what they were looking for. This brings strong loyalty and repeat visitors.

    Q. How do I know your numbers aren't a bunch of BS?

    A. Go to the independent Alexa.com which ranks internet traffic. (This is similar to Neilson for TV or Arbitron for radio). Let's use an example as of Feb. 15, 2006:

    Type in mirage.com and you will see a traffic rank of 46,113 . That means that Mirage.com is the 46,113 most visited site on the entire internet. (the closer to #1, the more traffic). Type in accessvegas.com and you will see the certified number displayed below. That means that AccessVegas.com is ranked the number displayed below most visited site on the entire internet.

    Q. So The Mirage site is slightly more popular than yours. I rest my case.

    A. No ... this means that despite no TV advertising or status as a huge Las Vegas landmark, we are among the elite sites on the entire internet in terms of traffic.

    You can do this comparison with any resort that has a stand alone site. (If all your resorts reside on one corporate site, IE harrahs.com, the Alexa ranking is combined of all traffic to entire harrahs.com ... all hotels combined).

    Q. How do you know all this stuff?

    A. While most people in my industry were working for a failing dot com (or not even involved in the 'net) a few years ago, I was building this site (and it's predecessor) out of my bedroom with no budget, no investors, no gurus.

    I was forced to learn and study this business, but had the freedom to try things until I found out what worked. I had to be successful to eat, and the knowledge I gained was real world, not investor "think tank" ideas that brought down the industry in the late '90's. Real world experience equals real results.
