The Rules

This is Vegas, Baby ... and we don't like rules. But our lawyers said we need to make a few:
We want you to have fun and everyone has a little different idea of what a trip report is. If you are new to this, a trip report should include:
Your first name, where you are traveling from, and fill us in a little on who you came here with if not traveling alone.
How you got here, and how the drive or flight went.
Where you stayed, and what you thought of the hotel property, room, and service. People may or may not see a show or do other activities, but everyone has to stay somewhere and wants hotel advice!
Did you catch a show or visit various attractions? Tell us about it. Hit a buffet or nice restaurant? We want to know!
Gambling: Always fun to hear if you played, what was hot, what was cold, what was new.
Extra fun stuff: Did you rent a limo or party bus, take a local or Grand Canyon tour, hit the golf links, or check out some of the clubs?
Spot a celeb or see one of those "Only In Vegas" stories?
Don't worry if you aren't Hemingway. Remember, one winner is chosen at random! You don't have to write a book or cover everything. But at least give us a few informative paragraphs. Writing only a couple of sentances just to enter the contest isn't allowed and will result in disqualification.
Post the report in our Trip Report Section for the month you actually stayed here.
You must be a registered member of our boards to post, but membership is free.
You don't need to notify us of a post. We automatically get a copy of each.. Winners will be notified at the email address they used when registering, as all registrations must be tied to a valid email address. Winners will also be posted in our free newsletter. Winners will have seven days to repsond.
Family and friends are allowed to recommend (vote for) your report. They must be registered to use the boards like everyone else. This keeps anyone from voting twice.
You are allowed and welcome to post a trip report that you may be posting to another message board or newsletter. But you need to be the author. You can't repost something you found elsewhere.
Posting grants permission for AccessVegas.com to use the post in part or whole (so we can print the segments from the winning post and other great posts in our newsletter and other promotional material).
You must be 18, 21 if your trip report includes drinking or gambling tales. If under 21, the winner will recieve a Blackjack Birthday packet instead of the gaming chip.
Votes (recommendations) will by tallied sometime during the week following the end of each month at a random time. We want to encourage having friends and family vote. We want to discourage an Ebay type last second attempt to influence voting.
AccessVegas.com reserves all rights to change or eliminate this contest with no notice or recourse. All decisions are final.
