Location. A massive neon guitar jutting into the sky over Paradise Road marks the cool and contemporary Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. Just one block from the MGM Theme Park and one mile from the Las Vegas Strip, this property is two miles from the Las Vegas Convention Center. The hotel is two miles from McCarran International Airport.
Hotel Features. The Hard Rock features five restaurants, including Nobu’s sushi bar, AGO, which serves Italian cuisine, and rare 120° which blends a classic steakhouse with nightlife.
The hotel is home to more than 600 pieces of rock-n-roll memorabilia, a 30,000-square-foot circular casino, 1,100-seat concert venue hosting major recording acts, and the subterranean nightclub Body English, featuring a retro-industrial ceiling, glowing violet tables and green vinyl booths. Pampering treatments at the property’s RockSpa include the signature Mediterranean Organic Veggie Wrap, Monticelli Mud and ThermoFreeze therapies. The facility additionally hosts Vichy showers, steam rooms, spas for a fee and a fitness center. For recreation, a three-acre tropical pool area with a sandy beach is available, as is a Beach Club pool with three swim-up blackjack tables. Adjacent thatch-roofed cabanas feature flat-screen televisions, telephones and ceiling fans.
Paradise Tower Just as Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is known in a sense for upping the game in Las Vegas, the new Paradise Tower steps up the Hard Rock’s game on the hotel side. The tower’s 490 lavish rooms were designed with the property’s signature party attitude in mind but with a jolt of sexy sophistication. Hotel devotees will notice a significantly more luxurious atmosphere in Paradise Tower, but without sacrificing the irreverent, anything-can-happen feeling that they’ve come to expect.
The Paradise Tower offers a Penthouse and 10 pool suites. The mega size Penthouse maxes out at 3,500 square feet with floor to ceiling windows throughout offering sweeping panoramic views. Arguably the best view yet in all of Las Vegas, the glittering Strip can be seen unobstructed from end to end while a turn in either direction provides expansive views of surrounding mountains. Get past the amazing views and the Penthouse interior is all wow-factor. Deep mahogany woods, platinum tiles, oversize hot tub, interactive digital pool table and not just a big screen, an entire video wall.
Guestrooms. The rock-n-roll motif continues in the 648 guestrooms which feature sea-green carpeting, eggplant-colored drapes, velour furnishings, color rock-n-roll portraiture and French doors. Rooms offer platform beds with leather headboards, 310-thread count bed linens and soft cotton robes. Amenities include Bose CD players, flat-panel televisions and television Internet access with a wireless keyboard. The penthouse boasts a dining area for 12, a stocked bar, pool table, flat-panel televisions and a single-lane automated bowling alley.
Guestrooms in the Paradise Tower evoke visions of a rock ‘n’ roll manor house, using iconic materials like leather, wood and silver studded velvet to enhance the sensory experience and emphasize that this is no standard hotel room. Designed by Mark Zeff, the rooms exude a chic playfulness with atmospheric touches that allow for optimal comfort and function by day, but then come alive at night.
Expert Tip. For underwater music appreciation, pools at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino host sub-surface speakers.
