Welcome to Las Vegas! My name is Victor H. Royer, but everyone just calls me Vegas Vic. I was named after that famous neon sign in Downtown Las Vegas, that cowboy with the hat on top of the Pioneer Club, always waving his hand and beckoning to his long love, Sassy Sally, on the other side of the street. I will be writing a few articles for AccessVegas.com, so I hope you enjoy them.
Video Slots -- Regis' Cash Club
It had to happen as well. "Mr. Showbiz" has his own slot machine. And what a game it is. Not only is this game a progressive, but it combines a multi-line reel slot machine with a video slot machine and video bonus screens - four bonus screens, to be exact! Plus, of course, the progressive jackpot which starts at a respectably "cool" $1 million. The machine itself is very tall and very distinctive and you can't miss it. Here's how the game works:
The game integrates state-of-the-art video animation on an LCD screen, mounted over the main reel slot game window, with sophisticated mechanical engineering wizardry. There are numerous bonuses and other means of winning. One of the primary objectives is to move up the Column of Cash to obtain that bonus. The higher you get, the more money you win. Any three Column of Cash symbols on any payline on the base game will initiate this bonus. You will be presented with five button choices and four "picks." Each button will allow you to move up the Column of Cash for an undisclosed amount of spaces, or it gives you another special option.
The "Up 1 Level", "Up 2 Levels" and "Up 3 Levels" buttons will move you up the Column of Cash accordingly. The "Free Pick" button will give you another "pick". The "Top 2" button will reveal two of the lower-values selections and you must then choose between the two remaining higher-value selections. Finally, the "Trade Up" button prompts you to select another button. If your second selection is an "Up 3 Levels" button, you then move up accordingly. If your second selection is either the "Up 1 Level" or the "Up 2 Levels" option, you can either keep what you got, or try again.
If you get the "Big Check" bonus, which you will hit whenever any two or more of the Big Check symbols appear on any payline, then you will see Regis himself and he will write you a bonus check for your credits win right then and there. However, sometimes Regis simply decides that the bonus check isn't big enough, so he will simply replace it with a bigger amount. But that's not all. When you line up all five of Regis' symbols on the 9th payline, with maximum coins bet, then you will win that big progressive. This, of course, means you have joined Regis' Cash Club, and are now the newest slot millionaire.
