On The Town With Vegas Vic
By: Victor H. Royer
Welcome to Las Vegas! My name is Victor H. Royer, but everyone just calls me Vegas Vic. I was named after that famous neon sign in Downtown Las Vegas, that cowboy with the hat on top of the Pioneer Club, always waving his hand and beckoning to his long love, Sassy Sally, on the other side of the street. I will be writing a few articles for AccessVegas.com, so I hope you enjoy them.
Video Slots – My Rich Uncle
In keeping with the "let's get rich" theme, here is another great game from IGT, in which you can become one of the people who "inherits" a fortune from your rich uncle. This is a five reel 9-line video slot machine in which you are trying to get your share of the inheritance when Uncle Mega Bux passes on and leaves a fortune to be divided among his greedy relatives. When three, four, or five of the "Will" symbols land on any active payline, you are transported into the attorney's office where the Will is being read.
First, however, you get to pick the lucky inheritor. You touch one of the hopeful relatives, and then select from several items which the character you selected really wants. Then you wait to see what they have inherited as the attorney reads who gets what. As each of the items is awarded to the relatives, for each one which is received by your character, you win a corresponding credit amount. If your character gets the item which you have selected as their favorite, then your accumulated bonus is doubled.
There is also another bonus to be had. Whenever you hit three, four or five "Safe" symbols as a scatter pay, you will be prompted to select one of these safes. It will then unlock and reveal your bonus amount. Of course there are plenty of sound effects, and the characters "jab" at each other with barbs about their greed. It all adds to the overall fun experience of playing.
