Video Slots -- I Love Lucy
In keeping with the other great IGT games based on popular themes and television shows, this is a five reel 12-line video slot machine which is also a bonus game as well as a progressive. All the popular characters from the TV show are represented in this game, but the most fun you will have is when you land on the Chocolate Factory Bonus. If you remember the TV episode on which this bonus is based, then you already know what I mean and what fun this is. In the event that you have not seen this episode, or aren't familiar with what this means, I will attempt to describe it briefly.
In this scene, Lucy and Ethel are workers in a chocolate factory. Their job is to wrap chocolate treats which are coming down a conveyor belt. At first, all is well. But, the conveyor belt soon starts to run faster. And then faster. The faster the belt runs, the more difficult it is for our two ladies to wrap the chocolates. So, they try to eat as many of these treats as they can, all the while trying to wrap as many of the others as possible. In this Bonus round, the faster the conveyor belt runs and the more chocolates the ladies eat, the more bonus credits you will win. You've got to see it to believe it, and it's great fun indeed!
There is another bonus as well. This one is called the Classic Moments Bonus. When three of these symbols land on any active pay line, the game takes you to the bonus screen where you have a choice of three classic scenes from the TV show. Pick one, it then plays in glorious black and white, and your bonus credits are awarded to your credit meter. And yes, of course, this is a progressive. The jackpot is achieved when you land all of the "heart" shaped I Love Lucy symbols on the winning active pay line. The top jackpot starts at $200,000.00, and is paid instantly (based on the regulatory requirements of the gaming jurisdiction in which you happened to have hit the jackpot).
I also wish to let you know that this game is available as a two-coin three reel slot machine. You can't miss it because it will have the red "hear" shaped I Love Lucy sign on the glass at the top of the machine. Both games are progressives, and both are sure to be very entertaining. I happen to prefer to video game, but, again, that's my own personal preference. Many times, the two-coin game may be as great an option as well as the video one.
