Cannery Casino & Hotel and Rampart Casino gave contestants another way to wager on America's most popular sport by introducing a Fantasy Football Contest. After a successful regular season and a playoffs mini-contest, Cannery Casino & Hotel and Rampart Casino have named Don Rea the $10,000 Fantasy Football champion.


"I've participated in many Fantasy Football contests, but I really enjoyed the Cannery Casino Resorts version," said Rea. "It was simple to understand and a lot of fun to take part in. I hope they run the exact same contest next year." 


The Fantasy Football Contest consisted of a 17-week regular season contest in which the first place weekly winner received $5,000 and automatic entry into the playoff mini-contest. The top 50 season-long accumulative points winners also received an entry into the playoff mini-contest. The playoffs mini-contest took place over three-weeks and paid out the top 10 winners. Contestants accumulated points for each correct pick over the course of the three-week playoff period, which included the wild card, divisional and conference championship rounds. There were no weekly winners during the playoffs.
