Dusty Springfield Tribute Artist to take Center Stage at Imperial Palace

"Legends In Concert" recently announced that the winner of the BBC's hit series "The One and Only...," Katy Setterfield, will kick off her extended contract on May 19 in Las Vegas at the Imperial Palace.


Setterfield, who performs as the soulful 60's icon, Dusty Springfield was one of 12 finalists, picked from thousands of entries, who competed for the title of the UK's best tribute act in the widely popular seven-week TV series. All contestants competed for the coveted opportunity to showcase their talents in the famous tribute show, "Legends in Concert." Each week, millions of viewers cast their vote to determine the fate of their favorite impersonator.


"Performing in 'The One and Only...' was an amazing experience but winning the competition and performing in Las Vegas is a dream come true," said Setterfield. "I can hardly wait to perform these songs in America."


Prior to competing on the show, Setterfield traveled the world performing as Dusty Springfield, Tina Tuner and Cher, but says performing as Springfield has always been her favorite.


"Katy will add a fresh, soulful element to the existing Legends in Concert lineup," said Ed Crispell, vice president and general manager of Imperial Palace.  "We're confident she'll be a hit with our audiences."


Dusty Springfield, whose career as an artist spanned decades, is most famous for her hits "Son of a Preacher Man," " I Only Want to Be With You" and "I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself."


"Legends in Concert" performs six nights a week in the Imperial Palace's Imperial Theater.  Shows run Mon. thru Sat. at 7:30pm and 10:00pm.
