Karsten Kaie will star in the October 20 "Cavetoberfest" German performance at the Golden Nugget.  He has been performing "Defending the Caveman" in Germany since 2001 and recently celebrated his 1,000th show. "Defending the Caveman" debuted in Germany in 2000. Within two years it became the most successful one-man-show in the country, and more than three million people have attended since its premiere. There are currently 15 actors in Germany performing "Defending the Caveman" on tours.

"Cavetoberfest" will kick off on Monday, October 1 with special German drinks at the showroom bar including an imported German beer. Souvenir Caveman Las Vegas beer steins will also be given out as part of the month long promotion. Local star of "Defending the Caveman" Kevin Burke will join Kaie, to tap the keg at Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas on Friday, October 19. The festivities start at 7 p.m. at the Hofbräuhaus located at 4510 Paradise Road, across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

"Defending the Caveman," written by comedian Rob Becker, is a worldwide, rock-solid tour-de-force.  This blockbuster has won the hearts of millions in more than 30 countries and has been translated into 15 languages. This hilariously insightful show about the ongoing misunderstandings between men and women have both sexes roaring with laughter and recognition. With hysterical looks into contemporary feminism, masculine sensitivity and the erogenous zone, "Defending the Caveman" mines the common themes in relationships that go straight to the funny bone.

Regular show times are at 8 p.m. daily with additional matinee shows on Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m.
