The American Superstars show, which opened in Las Vegas with the Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower in April 1996, has signed a contract extension through November 2009. This allows the show to continue to wow audiences with its line-up of celebrity tributes, announced American Casino & Entertainment Properties officials.

"The American Superstars show has thrived in the competitive Vegas entertainment market because it is quality entertainment which leaves audiences feeling entertained at a fair price," said Mark Callas, who produces American Superstars with his Springtime Productions partner, Donny Moore. "Our formula is simple. The talented cast pays sincere homage to great musical acts, and the dancers and band pull out all the stops to make American Superstars a fun night of entertainment," he added.


American Superstars is a full-scale production show that combines the talents of tribute artists portraying the likeness and musical abilities of today's and yesterday's hottest stars. The American Superstars cast features Darren Lee as Elvis, John Anthony as Rod Stewart, Chad Givens as Tim McGraw, Damian Brantley as Michael Jackson, and Lorena Peril as Christina Aguilera. The high energy Superstars Dance Band and the talented Superstars Dancers back the multi-talented cast.


Showtimes are Sunday through Tuesday at 7 p.m. and Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. in the Stratosphere's Theater of the Stars Showroom. The show is dark on Thursday.
