Cannery Casino & Hotel will celebrate the King's life Friday, August 8 and Saturday, August 9 with special performances by Jamie Aaron Kelley and Elvis' back-up singers and Gospel Hall-of-Fame members, The Imperials as well as other special guests, friends and co-stars of Elvis Presley. Tickets are $15 at the door, which opens at 6:30 p.m.

Jamie Aaron Kelley began his musical career at the age of three, progressing to solo performances by the time he reached the age of seven. At the age of 15, Kelley began to enter and win many singing contests. He had even developed a small stage show production of his own, featuring himself along with The TCB Dancers. By the time Kelley was 21, he gained initial fame for his outstanding voice and impersonation of Elvis Presley. His voice is so close to that of Elvis, that Elvis Presley Enterprises in Memphis, Tennessee started recommending him to various licensees for the recreation of Elvis' voice – both speaking and singing – on many products. Kelley has sold out shows all over the world including the United States, Canada, Holland and Japan.

The Imperials backed Elvis in Las Vegas, on road tours and joined Elvis in the studio for recording many hits such as "Suspicious Minds" and "In the Ghetto." Terry Blackwood, lead singer and Joe Moscheo, bass singer and manager of the original group are joined by Sherman Andrus, who came to the Imperials in 1972 and Gus Gaches who has a rich history in gospel music and will thrill you with his soaring high notes. They were featured at the 20th and 25th anniversary concerts in Memphis commemorating the death of Elvis, and have toured around the world with "Elvis, the Concert" show.

Other special guests will include Elvis' personal friend and bodyguard, Sonny West; Elvis' Kissin' Cousins co-star, Cynthia Pepper; Elvis' Blue Hawaii co-star, Darlene Tompkins and DJ of "Elvis on Air," Steve Christopher.

Activities taking place throughout the weekend will include memorabilia dealers and fan club displays. The Cannery Row Buffet will be taking part in the fun by hosting a special "Food that fed the King" section featuring Elvis' favorite dishes.
