George Maloof and Kerry Simon Join Forces to Create The Hottest New Culinary Destination in Las Vegas


Culinary genius and famed restaurateur Kerry Simon has announced that he will open his latest epicurean paradise, Simon at Palms Place at the new Palms Place Hotel, Condo & Spa.  The Rock & Roll chef, who has catered to the stars for almost two decades, will bring his style of cutting-edge, globally inspired fare to the eagerly anticipated new property.  Specializing in sushi, steak and seafood with more than 8,400 square feet of dining space, Simon at Palms Place will be a hip, edgy and delectable new dining destination unlike any other in Las Vegas. 


Simon at Palms Place will mark Kerry Simon's latest collaboration with business partner and famed restaurant industry expert, Elizabeth Blau.  In the past, Blau and Simon have successfully opened Simon Kitchen + Bar at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Simon LA at the Sofitel in Los Angeles.  Simon is also known for his triumphant victory against Cat Cora on the Food Network's hit series, Iron Chef.  He recently launched his own line of pro-quality, tri-ply cookware on the Home Shopping Network

Designed by the world renowned Rockwell group, the restaurant decor is inspired by the finest mid-century American modern residential architecture, with an infusion of both natural and tactile materials that are both environmentally conscious and sustainable. Overlooking the magnificent new pool, retractable doors will open up to a garden.  Other highlights of the space include the 13 seat sushi counter, two chef's tables with custom Corian tops, bamboo plank flooring, a stacked stone wall on the back bar and a Greenhouse Wall in the kitchen especially created for Simon's "micro-greens".
