Silverton Casino Lodge begins $130 million expansion project encompassing the resort's casino, dining and entertainment amenities.

Silverton Casino Lodge's casino and public space will increase by 35,000 square-feet and include the addition of 800 slot machines, a high limit gaming salon, race & sports book and poker lounge.  In addition, a retail shop, three restaurants and a high-energy center bar will also be constructed.  Silverton Casino Lodge currently offers 60,000 square-feet of gaming with 1,400 slot machines, 30 table games and an intimate poker room.

A cutting edge $15 million entertainment and pool venue will be developed over nearly two acres.  Five pools, 30 cabanas, five fire pits, three bars and an intimate beach retreat with hot tubs, cold plunges and swaying hammocks will be nestled in the lushly landscaped venue.  The soon to be oasis will also include a full stage capable of hosting headline entertainment for over 2,000 concert and partygoers.

A state of the art 1,500 space public parking garage complete with valet and VIP parking will be constructed as part of the expansion.  The five-level garage will be expandable to over 4,000 spaces if needed.  Thematic lighting, signage and landscaping will punctuate the new and highly desired facility.

The Epicurean award-winning Twin Creeks will reopen December 4 after receiving a $3.7 million redesign.  It will boast an innovative new menu, signature boutique bourbons, classically trained chef, extensive wine list and restyled interior and exterior.   Designer lighting throughout three distinct dining areas will produce the ideal ambiance to enjoy the creations of Chef Matthew Alba.  High top tables in the bar area will provide casual dining and conversation, while custom designed booths are sure to offer seclusion and privacy.  New finishes throughout the restaurant such as wood floors, ceiling beams, sheers and candle niches are all part of Twin Creeks' transformation into one of the best dining options in Las Vegas.

The $130 million expansion project is expected to be completed by early 2009.  Design and development partners include Klai::Juba Architects, Paul Steelman Co., JBA, Project Dynamics, Tom Ruzika, Kimley-Horn & Associates and Lifescapes International.  Commerce Construction will spearhead the project.
