The Rampart Casino and 105.7 FM The Oasis will extend their popular summertime jazz concerts into the fall with the Smooth September Jazz Series. Hosted at Addison's Lounge located in the Rampart Casino, the series showcases some of Las Vegas' finest jazz artists during a four-week series beginning September 5. Times for each show are 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and admission is free.


The schedule of performers will run as follows:


 Sept. 5 - The Julius Show


 Sept. 12 - David Van Such


 Sept. 19 - Frantz Hall


 Sept. 26 - Tommy Thompson Project


In addition to the great sounds, Addison's Lounge will continue to serve up some exciting martini specials.  For the occasion, the Rampart created special martinis and gave them jazz-inspired names. These drinks are not just a treat for the taste buds, but also a treat to the wallet at only $4.00 each.  Below is a list of the smooth drinks that will go along with the smooth sounds:


The Bellinitini - Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Champagne, Orange Juice and Cranberry Juice


The Ella Fitzgerald - Gin, Sweet and Sour, Sprite and a splash of Grenadine


The Dirty Classic - Gin, Extra Dry Vermouth and Olive Juice


The Jazz Berry - Vodka, Raspberry Liquor, Splashes of Lime and Cranberry Juice


The Purple Haze - Vodka, Blue Curacao, Splash of Cranberry Juice
