The fourth annual Rockstar Taste of Chaos Tour is making a stop at The Pearl Concert Theater on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at 7 p.m. Headlining bands include Atreyu, Bullet for My Valentine and Blessthefall in addition to Japanese rock bands (JROCK) Mucc, D'espairsRay and The Underneath and Seattle group Idiot Pilot.

Closing the night's musical festivities is Atreyu; a band that arrived on the Orange County metal scene in 1998 and has sold more than a million albums since. The band released its fourth studio album, Lead Sails Paper Anchor, in August 2007, debuting at number eight on the Billboard 200 chart and at number one on the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart.


Welsh band Bullet for My Valentine hit the music scene hard and fast with the release of its 2006 debut album The Poison, selling more than 1 million copies worldwide. The band just released its sophomore album Scream Aim Fire this past January, peaking at number four on the Billboard 200 chart.


Hailing from Phoenix, Ariz., Blessthefall is a Christian-based rock quartet that first hit the national music scene in 2007 with the release of its debut album His Last Walk that peaked at number 32 on the Billboard 200 chart. Blessthefall was the most popular new band of the 2007 Vans Warped Tour, motivating promoters to bring them on board for the 2008 Taste of Chaos Tour.


Having already spawned multiple soundtrack CDs and a Live DVD, the Rockstar Taste of Chaos, like its summer sibling the Van's Warped Tour, is only getting bigger and better, offering fans the opportunity to see their favorite bands and take part in a number of concourse activities including playing the newest video games, acoustic performances, attending autograph signing sessions and a slew of interactive fan activities that add to the experience.
