OneRepublic is set to play with opening acts The Hush Sound, The Spill Canvas and Augustana, at The Pearl Concert Theater on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.

OneRepublic was formed in 2002 by songwriter/producer Ryan Tedder and former classmate Zach Filkins. The two recruited Drew Brown on guitar, Brent Kutzle on bass and cello and Eddie Fisher on drums. After gaining massive popularity via MySpace, OneRepublic made its mainstream breakthrough in 2007 with the hit single "Apologize." A remix of the song was featured on Timbaland Presents: Shock Value and has since sold more than 7 million copies of the single worldwide. The original version of the song is featured on the band's debut album, Dreaming Out Loud.


After experiencing enormous success with "Apologize," the band released its second single from Dreaming Out Loud, "Stop and Stare." The follow-up single was another success for the group, reaching the top ten on the Billboard Pop 100 and Top 40 Mainstream charts. The band also performed this song and its newest single, "Mercy" on the hit TV show "Smallville."
