The Palms Casino Resort announced today that Gwen Stefani will return to The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort following performing at the Grand Opening of the theater to a sold out crowd earlier this year. Stefani is set to return for an intimate performance on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. with support from pop singer Sean Kingston.
Gwen Stefani is a music and fashion icon. Beginning with her career as the lead singer of the multi-platinum Grammy award winning band No Doubt, Stefani has performed the world over including the Super Bowl halftime show and opening slots for the Rolling Stones and U2. Her multi-platinum debut album, 2004's Love. Angel. Music. Baby., featured the breakout hit "Hollaback Girl" which went on to become the first song ever to reach the 1 million digital download milestone. Along the way Gwen has graced the covers of countless music, fashion and lifestyle magazines all while launching her own hugely successful L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers clothing and accessories lines. 2007 marked the launch of Stefani's world tour in support of her platinum album, The Sweet Escape, which includes the hit singles "The Sweet Escape" and "Wind It Up."
Sean Kingston, the 17-year old singer who has taken the pop music world by storm with his hit single "Beautiful Girls" joins Stefani for the stop at The Pearl. Mixing pop and doo-wop with hip-hop and reggae, his fan base crosses multiple genres and Kingston's smooth transitions provide entertainment that meshes seamlessly with Stefani's stage show.
