WHO: American folk rock singer John Eddie grew up in New Jersey where he gained popularity performing at clubs in the 1970s, occasionally with rocker Bruce Springsteen. He was signed by CBS/Sony in the ‘80s and released his eponymous debut album in 1986, which included the hit single "Jungle Boy" that hit number 17 on the Billboard rock charts. Throughout the late ‘80s, Eddie toured as the opening act for Bob Seger and The Kinks. |
