Multi-platinum-selling country superstar George Strait returns to Las Vegas for a Big Game weekend performance live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008.  The in-the-round concert, allowing him to perform to all sides of the arena throughout his show, is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.  Singer and songwriter Josh Turner also is scheduled to perform as the evening's special guest.

During his 2007 arena tour, Strait continued his streak of sold-out shows while setting attendance records.  With 55 No. 1 songs (Billboard's all-time leader for No. 1 country singles), 74 Top 10 and 78 Top 20 hits, the Country Music Association Hall of Fame artist and legendary entertainer has a gold mine of music which thrills audiences and leaves them wanting more.


Since his debut in 1981, Strait has been doing what comes naturally – putting together scores of hits that have earned him millions of fans worldwide and the unanimous respect of critics.  He has sold more than 62 million records and with 32 different platinum or multi-platinum albums, he has earned the second most certifications of any artist in any genre, following only Elvis Presley.


Strait continues his reign over country music with his latest single, "Wrapped," topping the charts.  This not only marks Strait's 55th No. 1 hit but it also is the third single to hit No. 1 from his 34th studio album, It Just Comes Natural.  The first single, "Give It Away," jumped to the top of the country singles' chart in only 13 weeks, making it the fastest rising single of Strait's career.  The song also received two Academy of Country Music Awards for "Song of the Year" and "Single Record of the Year."  The album's title track "It Just Comes Natural" also reached No. 1.


Josh Turner burst onto the scene in 2003 with his debut album Long Black Train, selling more than 1 million copies.  His follow up disc, Your Man, has sold more than 2 million copies establishing Turner as one of the fastest rising stars in country music today.  His distinctive voice paired with his inspired songwriting makes him one of Nashville's most notable traditionalists.
