Rockers Collective Soul will perform an acoustic show at Mandalay Bay Friday, March 28 and is scheduled to being at 9 p.m.  This one-night only engagement marks the first "unplugged" performance inside the Mandalay Bay Theatre.

In 2007, the hard-rocking band released their seventh studio album, Afterwords, which features a number of love songs including the hit single "Hollywood."  The single also is currently featured on this season's hit television show American Idol. 


In 2004, Collective Soul released Youth, off the band's own El Music Group label.  "Better Now," the first single off the album, was the band's first single to hit gold status. 


In 1993, the hit-makers released Hints Allegations and Things Left Unsaid album featuring the very popular single "Shine."  The success of the single pushed the album to platinum status and soon after, the band began touring with rock legends Aerosmith and later appeared on stage at Woodstock in 1994. 


Collective Soul has had 21 tracks debut on the Billboard charts and seven No. 1 singles including "December," "Shine," "The World I Know," "When The River Flows," "Precious Declaration," "Listen" and "Heavy."
