Musically and lyrically extensive Blue October brings its creative rock style to Vegas with special guests Yellowcard, Shiny Toy Guns and Lovedrug Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at 8 p.m.

Blue October returns to Las Vegas knowing what platinum feels like thanks to the incredibly successful 2006 release, Foiled, which spawned hits like "Hate Me" and "Into the Ocean." A favorite of rockers for more than a decade, Blue October uses their talents to bring to live shows a raw mix of their roaring riffs and shockingly honest songs. Formed in 1996, the group's major label debut, Consent to Treatment (2000), was followed by History for Sale (2003) which included the song "Calling You" from the American Wedding soundtrack, propelling them into mainstream fame.


Joining Blue October is pop punk band Yellowcard that just released the energized, Paper Walls with the sounds that have endeared fans since the band's beginning. Hailing from Jacksonville, FL, the band began with a string of successful indie releases. In 2003, Capitol Records debuted album, Ocean Avenue, which received much attention in addition to selling out concerts on their tour in the U.S. and abroad.


Adding a punch to the night of eclectic rock is Shiny Toy Guns. After forming in 2003, the band's debut album, We Are Pilots created a roaring platform for the group to make their mark in the music industry. The band used live performances and the internet to develop their loyal and fast growing fan base. With their future-forward rock music style, You Are The One, released in April 2007, has received enthusiastic reviews. Rounding out the night, indie rockers Lovedrug add another genre of music to a night of great live entertainment.
