Band is well-known for '80s hit "Situation"


The bands of the '80s were known for their synthesizer infused pop-dance tracks and Yaz was responsible for one of the most popular songs of that time, the single "Situation." Reunited, Yaz visits the states with a stop in Las Vegas on Sunday, July 6 at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort with an 8:00 p.m. show time.

The band Yaz, known outside of the states as Yazoo, was a duo that rose to popularity in the U.S. with their hits "Situation" and "(Didn't I) Bring Your Love Down." Outside of the U.S., Yaz held popularity in the dance club scene. Fronted by Vince Clarke (formerly of Depeche Mode) and featuring vocals from Alison Moyet, the duo released two original studio albums, as well as a Greatest Hits collection and Best Of collection.
