The Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino will host Clay Walker during its National Finals Rodeo concert series in The Showroom, Dec. 13 and 14 at 10 p.m.
The hotel and casino is bringing in some of rodeo's hottest names in country and rock 'n' roll music for special live performances in both its intimate, 600-seat Showroom and brand new 11,000 square foot event center, The Grand.
A multi-platinum artist, Walker first topped the charts in 1993 and has been pleasing audiences and fans alike, ever since. Touring on his 8th album, his successful combinations of dynamic lyrics, vocals and music will continue at the Golden Nugget during NFR. Walker visits the Golden Nugget as part of his Fall album tour
"The biggest thing that I wanted to do was to just get songs on the radio and make music that people love," Walker said on putting the new album together. "I wanted to continue the style they've known me for and not change things too much because the music we've made in the past is good music. Mainly I was looking for stronger lyrics. I think you try to do that with every record, and the more you record, the better you get at being able to pick hit songs."
In addition to the Clay Walker, Ricky and the Redstreaks will perform nightly after the rodeo in The Grand, and other headliners including The Charlie Daniel Band, Terri Clark and Ronnie Milsap will perform in The Showroom throughout National Final Rodeo. A free live, closed-circuit viewing of WNFR will also be available every evening in The Grand.
Ticket prices for all Showroom headliners start at $35 plus applicable taxes and fees.
