San-Toki Korean BBQ & Shabu Bar, the newest concept from Tiger Restaurant Group, opens its doors on September 1 offering Las Vegas valley residents and visitors alike a taste of the Orient where they can grill mouthwatering meats, crisp vegetables and a variety of noodles, stews and rice at their table on built-in barbecues.
Menu
Diners are able to participate in the Korean barbecue experience by grilling their own specially marinated meats on a grill at each table. Customers may also choose to sit at the Shabu bar where they can cook assortments of meat, seafood and vegetables in individual hot pots and create their own healthy meal. Shabu Shabu originated in Japan and was named after the 'swishing' noise made by stirring the meat through the broth.
Tiger Restaurant Group owners Brian and Emily Kim created the San-Toki menu to utilize ingredients that cater to health-conscience consumers. Menu items include Kobe beef, garlic shrimp, spicy pork and marinated chicken, an assortment of fresh vegetables, brown and white rice, as well as a variety of noodles and side dishes including fried and steamed dumplings, spicy rice cakes and braised galbi stew.
Design
Guests will enjoy their specialty dishes in an exquisite dining room featuring dark wood floors and tables with shoji screens lining the walls. Diners are greeted into the restaurant by a colorful display of authentic Korean kites suspended from metal poles. San-Toki features bright red walls with accent colors of green, yellow and blue and artwork that reflects Korea's history. The restaurant offers a private VIP room with full-service Korean barbecue, karaoke, and flat LCD televisions.
Happy Hour
Diners can enjoy a cocktail before dinner in the spacious San-Toki bar and lounge. The lounge and restaurant will feature Soju, a Korean version of vodka, which can be served by itself or with fresh fruit purees for the more adventurous. San-Toki will offer a late-night happy hour from midnight to 4 a.m. Sunday – Thursday nights with all drinks and select appetizers available for 20 percent off.
