Dining powerhouse The Glazier Group, along with Executive Chef John Schenk and General Manager Dave Gonzales, take the Las Vegas Strip by storm with the opening of Strip House at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

After enjoying culinary success throughout the country, master restaurateurs Peter, Penny and Mathew Glazier of The Glazier Group come to Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.  Peter and Penny Glazier have been named one of the top 50 Taste Makers in Nation's Restaurant News, New York's Top Business People of the Year in The Resident and were among an exclusive list of "Movers and Shakers" in Hamptons Magazine.

As CEO and founder of The Glazier Group, Peter Glazier now owns and operates several successful New York City restaurants including Monkey Bar, Michael Jordan's The Steak House N.Y.C and six other Strip House locations across the country. He is respected as one of the nation's most astute restaurateurs for creating many unique dining destinations.  All of Glazier's properties share unparalleled ambience as well as impeccable service, food and style.

As a principal of The Glazier Group, Penny Glazier oversees all marketing, public relations, retail, design, special events and overall imagery of all Glazier properties. Her knowledge of the culinary industry, design and furnishings is prominently reflected in Strip House's unique décor. To add to her extensive list of accomplishments, Penny was named one of the Top 50 Business Women in New York by the New York Post.

Mathew Glazier, President of The Glazier Group, is a natural when it comes to restaurant operations.  As a child, Glazier took interest in one day being an element in the family business.  Now, with his extensive knowledge, he has helped to position Strip House as one of Las Vegas' premiere dinning destinations.  Playing an integral role in The Glazier Group's development, Glazier is responsible for employment relations, contract negotiations and lease negotiations for new locations. Since Glazier took the helm of the company, The Glazier Group has grown from five properties to 14 by the end of 2007.

Culinary mastermind John Schenk brings a wealth of knowledge and a menu full of flavor as executive chef of Strip House. In 1994, Schenk became executive chef at Monkey Bar, another Glazier Group restaurant, where he received the Food and Wine Magazine's "Best New Chef" award. His expertise has been featured on the Today Show, CBS Saturday Morning's "Chef on a Shoe String," FOX & Friends and was an original chef on the Food Network's "Ready, Set, Cook."  Chef Schenk's decadent menu includes prime cuts of beef charred to perfection, signature side dishes and the famed Strip House 24-Layer Chocolate Cake.

General Manager Dave Gonzales believes the restaurant business is in his genes. He took from his parents, owners and operators of a small restaurant in his hometown, the standards and fundamentals he uses to this day. Gonzales has learned the ins and outs from the ground up by bussing and waiting tables, washing dishes and bartending. A desire to work with people who shared the same passion for food and wine, Gonzales found himself accepting a general manager position with the N9NE Group.  While there, he fulfilled his dream of taking part in an opening with N9NE Steak House in Dallas. Now as an asset to The Glazier Group, Gonzales looks forward to applying his immeasurable knowledge and experience to turn Strip House into the best steak house in Las Vegas.

Strip House, located inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, redefines the traditional steak house.  Renowned restaurateurs Peter, Penny and Mathew Glazier, along with executive chef John Schenk have created an atmosphere unlike any other in Las Vegas.  The innovative menu is designed to excite all the senses with prime cuts of beef charred to perfection, signature side dishes, an extensive wine list and the famed 24-layer chocolate cake.  Strip House is open 5 – 11 p.m. Sunday – Thursday and 5 – 11:30 p.m. Friday – Saturday.  For more information, or to make a reservation, please call 702.737.5200.
