Now in it's 11th year at Lake Las Vegas Resort, the Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge – a nationally televised professional golf tournament benefiting the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption – hits the links of Reflection Bay Golf Club on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007. The Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge is the only professional golf tournament to pit three players from the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tours against each other in a head-to-head competition for tour bragging rights and a share of the $1 million purse.

Each threesome consists of one player from each tour engaging in two separate, nine-hole stroke-play matches. Representing the 2007 PGA tour team is veteran Chris DiMarco in his first Wendy's appearance, young star Camilo Villegas, and rising athlete Bubba Watston, who is also making his Wendy's debut. The Champions Tour team includes Fred Funk, Jay Haas returning for his fourth consecutive year, and Nick Price. The LPGA boasts the talents of Lake Las Vegas Resident Natalie Gulbis – who just inked her first career LPGA victory at the Evian Masters – dominating golfer and philanthropist Christie Kerr and young dynamo Morgan Pressel.

The event is free and open to the public. The first team is scheduled to tee off at 8:30 a.m. and the final group will tee off at 8:50 a.m.  Tickets may be obtained in advance at Las Vegas area Wendy's restaurants, Copeland Sports, Dick's Sporting Goods in the Galleria Mall, The Sports Authority on Sunset, Las Vegas Golf & Tennis in the District, The Village Golf Shop at MonteLago Village, The Falls Golf Club and Lake Las Vegas Resort's Information Pavilion.

For those who are unable to catch the action live, the Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge will be aired throughout the country on ABC Dec. 22 and 23.

Now celebrating its 16th anniversary, the Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge has raised more than $21 million for its primary beneficiary, the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Dave Thomas, founder of Wendy's® Old Fashioned Hamburgers, created the Foundation in 1992 in support of the vision that every child deserves a permanent home and a loving family. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption focuses on increasing foster care adoption awareness while supporting model adoption service programs. 150,000 children in North America are waiting in foster care for safe, loving adoptive families and the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption helps them find safe, loving homes.
