Grab your cowboy hats and brace yourselves – in preparation for National Finals Rodeo (NFR), Peoples Auto Center and KWNR New Country 95.5 are introducing "Country Thursdays." Every Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m., Peoples invites valley residents to participate in some honky-tonk fun, with the opportunity to test drive a different car each week and enter for a pair of NFR tickets that will be raffled off during the final Thursday event on December 6, 2007. Each week the boot strappin' fun rolls on with a new event.
On November 23, the day more commonly known by savvy shoppers as "Black Friday," Peoples invites you to sit back and relax from all that holiday shopping with a Relaxation Station offering guests free chair massages along with a Mazda CX9 test drive.
Be sure to saddle up on November 29 when Peoples features a Mechanical Bull Riding Competition. The person who stays on the bull the longest will receive a $50 gift card to Roadrunner Saloon. Throughout the evening, individuals can test drive a Pontiac G6 Convertible.
The final hoedown on December 6 will feature a Line Dancing Competition and Christy Clayton Concert. The line dancing contest will begin at 6 p.m. and will feature an original song performed by country singer Christy Clayton. The winner of the competition will be awarded a $50 gift card to Roadrunner Saloon. Following the contest, Clayton will also perform a mini concert for guests. A final drawing for NFR tickets will also take place during the evening, in which two winners will be selected to each receive a pair of NFR tickets and a $50 gift card to Roadrunner.
