The renowned Ms. Senior America pageant returns to Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino, November 5-10.  For over 25 years, the pageant has honored accomplished woman age 60 years or older. 


This year, contestants from 35 states will perform in the categories of interview, "philosophy of life", talent and evening gown, in hopes of being crowned the 27th winner of the Ms. Senior America pageant.  Celebrity judges and performers including the reigning Ms. Senior America, Suzanne Shelley, will be present to crown the new Queen.


"This has been the most amazing year of my life during which I have discovered a sisterhood that I never knew existed," Shelley said. "Ms. Senior America is a wonderful venue for seniors who are still very active in their communities to meet other like-minded women."


By giving women an opportunity to display their inner beauty, achievements and elegance, the pageant seeks to motivate and encourage women to utilize their full potential and share a positive outlook on life with all generations.


This year, contestants are eligible for the Konze Prize, a charitable program that honors senior woman who have volunteered their time to serve children.  The winner will also receive a special keepsake gift from famed Sedona artist Valentine.


The week of festivities at Imperial Palace will celebrate the "Age of Elegance" and will culminate with the crowning of a new Queen on Nov. 10.
