On Sunday, December 9 Hogs & Heifers Saloon of Las Vegas is celebrating their third annual Toys for Tots ride to benefit the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation (NVCCF).

The morning kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with the sassy girls of Hogs & Heifers hosting a delicious continental breakfast while riders register and Santa collects toys.   Kick stands up at 10:30 a.m. and Santa and his helper "elves" will leave for Sunrise Children's Hospital. There is no entry fee for the charity ride or the after party, but Hogs & Heifers does suggest a $10 donation from each rider and passenger.  All proceeds from the Hogs & Heifers Toys for Tots Ride are donated to the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Filling the auditorium with gifts they have brought along, the merry group will be spending a few hours with the children of NVCCF's different programs (both in and out patient).  Santa will also visit with children in-room that are unable to attend the festivities in the auditorium.

"The holidays are such a joyous time and we truly love sharing it with our patrons and those in need," said Michelle Dell, owner of Hogs & Heifers. "The kids at Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation are so brave and we hope that our visit brings them holiday cheer."

The joyous day will conclude with the riders coming back to Hogs & Heifers and enjoying some BBQ, live music, drinks and good company.

Hogs & Heifers is located at 201 North 3rd Street in downtown Las Vegas. Monetary and toy donations will be accepted throughout November and December.  For more information on the Toys for Tots ride please call Hogs & Heifers at (702) 676-1457 X14.

Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation works side by side with the medical community to provide social, emotional, educational, and psychological support services and programs to families of all children who are diagnosed with a life threatening or critical illness such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, sickle cell, hemophilia, renal disorders and other immunologic diseases. They provide comfort and support while empowering and educating families.

Hogs & Heifers Las Vegas is known for their abundance of cold beer, beautiful women, loud classic American music and a lot of attitude with a no frills philosophy. The only policy that stands is "no lemon, no lime, no salt, no sugar, no olives, no onions, no tomato juice, no pineapple juice, no frozen drinks, no margarita glasses, no martini glasses, no wine and no whining."
