The location of Memphis Championship Barbecue near Nellis Air Force Base is proud to show its support for Marsha Granger, a breast cancer survivor, and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization. On Tuesday, October 16, from 3 p.m. until closing, the restaurant will use 10% of all proceeds to sponsor Granger as she participates in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day.


The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk for women and men who wish to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. The event benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund by raising millions of dollars for breast cancer research and patient support programs.


Granger is participating in the San Diego Breast Cancer 3-Day November 9 through 11. The Memphis Championship Barbecue location near Nellis Air Force Base is at 4379 Las Vegas Blvd. and Craig Rd. On October 16, guests who dine there will help Granger reach her fundraising goal of $4,400.
