A new collection of works from Italian foundry Chiurazzi Worldwide – seen in prominent museums like The Getty and in the private collections belonging to the Rockefellers and British Royal Family – will be on display at Lake Las Vegas Resort from Sept. 8 – 22. Guests wandering around the enchanting MonteLago Village will be treated majestic bronze reproductions of the epic Lacoönte Group, Donatello's legendary David and others.

In existence since the mid-1800s, the Chiurazzi Foundry was authorized by major museums, European governments and The Vatican to create hundreds of moulds directly from the surfaces of history's most important works of sculpture created by Michelangelo, Bernini, Cellini, Donatello, Canova and countless others. After World War II, Chiurazzi lost business momentum and by the turn of the century, all of his assets were being sold in bankruptcy. Saved by art-enthusiast Professor Clemente Setaro, the priceless collections are now run by Chiurazzi Worldwide, Inc., a partner company in the US headed by CEO Gale Roberts.

"These great sculptures are considered the finest in the world, representing a time capsule of the works they embody," said Cary Krukowski, director of marketing for Lake Las Vegas. "We are honored to be among the prestigious exhibitors of a Chiurazzi showing and feel that our Italian-inspired resort compliments the history and origins of these pieces."

Resort visitors and residents can view the Chiurazzi sculptures from Sept. 8 through Sept. 22 free of charge. For more information about this and other Lake Las Vegas Resort events, call (702) 564-1600
