Since his debut in 2001, country-boy Blake Shelton continues to gain momentum. His star turn on "Clash of the Choirs," the smash NBC miniseries, brought both his musical mastery and his offbeat wit to a nationwide audience. Since earning the title of Radio & Records magazine's breakthrough country artist that year, Shelton keeps on amazing fans with hit songs ranging from the sweet sentiments of "Austin" and "The Baby" to his powerful take on "Goodbye Time," the hilarious "Some Beach" and the wildly original prison break story song, "Ol' Red."
Members of the Country Music Association (CMA) and nominated to CMA's Top 10 Ballot for Duo-of-the-Year in 2006, LoCash Cowboys entertain fans with their original hits such as "Boom Boom" and "Gimme Somethin' To Look At." With amazing dance moves that compliment their wide-ranging vocal abilities, LoCash Cowboys excite fans with their upbeat brand of music—a hybrid of country, rock and hip-hop.
The high-energy musical experience Bruce In The USA takes performance art to a whole new level with their tribute to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Bruce In the USA has performed to sold-out crowds at venues such as Asbury Park's legendary Stone Pony and the House of Blues, bringing audiences to their feet from the first song to the last with note-perfect, visual recreations of a Springsteen concert. Former E Street Band member, Clarence Clemons, once joined Bruce In the USA on stage to praise them as the greatest tribute he'd ever seen.
The Garage Boys, a local Las Vegas cover band, rock the crowd with their renditions of such popular songs as Jet's "Are You Gonna Be My Girl," "Wonderwall" by Oasis and AC/DC's "Dirty Deeds."
The Annual Race Jam starts wheelin' at 7 pm on Friday, February 29. All are invited to ride on downtown and enjoy the feel-good sounds of great music while surrounded by the iconic neon lights of the Fremont Street Experience. All concerts are free and open to the public and parking is available at the Fremont Street Experience parking garage located at Carson and 4th Streets.
