Blue Man Group is holding an open casting call for aspiring Blue Man performers at The Venetian's Blue Man Group Theatre on Monday, April 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Blue Man Group hopes its Las Vegas auditions will produce the newest crop of talented and energetic individuals ready to assume the role of Blue Man.  Over the years, Las Vegas auditions have produced several Blue Man performers.  This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the Blue Man sensation that has earned itself countless fans throughout the world.

Blue Man Group is best known for their wildly popular theatrical shows and concerts which combine music, comedy and multimedia theatrics to produce a totally unique form of entertainment.  The blissful party atmosphere created at the live events has become the trademark of a Blue Man Group experience.


The company applies its unique creative process to a wide variety of projects, including live theatrical productions located in 8 cities worldwide, and the recording of three albums: the GRAMMY-nominated Audio, The Complex, and Live At The Venetian ® ­- Las Vegas.  Blue Man Group has also ventured into toy development (with their Keyboard Experience and Percussion Tubes, produced by ToyQuest), film and TV scoring, commercial campaigns, and television programs (like Scrubs and Arrested Development).  The Blue Man How To Be A Megastar arena rock concert tour recently visited 150 U.S. cities, as well as cities in Mexico and South America.  Accompanying the spring 2008 release of the new DVD/CD combo entitled HOW TO BE A MEGASTAR LIVE!, the Megastar tour will continue its travel throughout the United States. 


What does it take to be a Blue Man?   Blue Man is an egoless, genderless being.  Male and female performers are encouraged to audition.  All necessary audition equipment will be provided.  The basic criteria for Blue Man performers are:


Height between 5'10" and 6'1" tall (athletic build)


Solid drumming skills


Excellent acting skills


Willingness to relocate
