The Package Centers around En Masse Wedding Ceremony at 8:08 p.m.


Las Vegas is the city of luck and weddings, and on 8/8/88, 88 lucky couples will be married en masse in a ceremony at 8:08 p.m. on Level 108- Indoor Observation Deck of the world famous Stratosphere Tower as part of the Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower's "Lucky 8/8/08 Wedding Package." The cost of participation is $8.88 for the first 88 couples who contact the Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower Catering Office.


"Couples married at the Stratosphere on 7/7/07 had such a blast that we decided to do something bigger and better for 8/8/08. 8/8/08 is a perfect day for coming to Vegas and taking the plunge since it is considered especially lucky in many cultures," said Tina Rogers, director of catering and convention services at the Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower.


The "Lucky 8/8/08 Wedding Package" for $8.88 includes:


·    Participation in the en masse wedding ceremony for 88 couples.


·    Complimentary admission to the Stratosphere Tower Level 108- Indoor observation Deck.


·    Minister fees are waived.


·    Complimentary glass of Champagne served after the ceremony.


·    Complimentary admission to the Stratosphere's world highest thrill rides- the Big Shot, X Scream, and Insanity while each couple is in the Tower on 8/8/08.


·    Complimentary coupon from Cashman Photo Enterprises for a green screen photo at the base of the Tower.


A special room rate will be available to all couples participating in the ceremony. Honeymoon deluxe king rooms start at $88.88 per night and Honeymoon deluxe suites start at $188.88 per night. Cashman Professional will provide optional photography for a fee after the ceremony from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.


All participating couples must obtain a valid Nevada wedding license prior to the ceremony. The couple must bring the license to the Stratosphere Chapel Office by 5 p.m. on 8/8/08. Couples not able to be married during the 8/8/08 ceremony will be rescheduled for individual ceremonies on 8/9/08 subject to availability at the standard wedding package rates.


An array of post-ceremony dining options including the Top of the World restaurant will be available to couples and their guests, and may be arranged through the Stratosphere Chapel Office. Romance Lounge on Level 107 of the Tower will be a perfect choice for couples looking to toast their new lives together with a wide selection of beverages including an $8 martini.
