Palace Station's newest entertainment offering,  the LA Comedy Club,  is open nightly and features two comedians, both of headlining caliber, in The Showroom at Palace Station.

Palace Station hosts two hour-long shows nightly, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. in the intimate 150-seat venue at Palace Station. Tickets are $24.95 each and include either two drinks inside the showroom or a meal at the Palace Station Feast Buffet that must be redeemed within seven days of purchase date. The featured comedians will alternate every one to two weeks, splitting their time on stage equally. The LA Comedy Club is the brainchild of Bill Voelkner and Joaquin Trujillo of Bill Voelkner Productions. Tickets are available for purchase by calling (702) 574-5300, online at www.palacestation.com or at the Palace Station Box Office. Following is the upcoming lineup:

Nov. 26 – Dec. 2

Mark Yaffee and Tim O'Rourke

Mark Yaffee is a writer and performer whose comedy routine is inspired by his Mexican-Irish upbringing and his native Navajo roots. After working at the Department of Motor Vehicles for 12 years, Yaffee opened his own traffic school in the mid-1990s. Realizing his gift for entertaining audiences, he went on to try the comedy club circuit. Within two years, Yaffee won the Gold Rush Comedy Competition and landed a spot on Galavision Network's "¡Qué Locos!" comedy show.  Since then, he has logged professional stage time in 26 states, the Middle East and Asia. Yaffee has also written for George Carlin's Laugh.com.

Tim O'Rourke is best known for his appearances as Tim the jovial bartender on "The Drew Carey Show." He is also a writer for the Nickelodeon shows, "Fairly OddParents" and "SpongeBob Squarepants." O'Rourke's high energy comedy is derived largely from his blue collar roots. He has appeared on several television programs including, "Half Hour Comedy Hour," "Stand-up Spotlight" and "Heavyweights of Comedy." O'Rourke is no stranger to Las Vegas, having opened for several acts here including Vince Gill, Tom Jones and Robin Williams.

Dec. 3 – Dec. 9

Derrick Cameron and Dennis Blair

Derrick Cameron always grew up with humor as a way of life. Growing up with funny parents set the foundation for his love of comedy, particularly television comedy. His comedic career began at the Comedy Store in La Jolla, Calif. and he quickly became a regular act at the Improv in San Diego leading him make comedy his full-time job. Before Cameron embarked on his new career, he listened to the advice of famed comic, Sinbad. He encouraged Cameron to use his recommendation to book his first month of work on the road. That first month led to Cameron performing all over the world, including appearances on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," Comedy Central's "Premium Blend" and "Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen."

Dennis Blair is an accomplished screenwriter, award-winning songwriter and comedic actor. Yet he is probably best known for the caustic observations and musical satires of his live comedy performances. Early in his career, Rodney Dangerfield made him his protégé and together they toured the United States and Canada for more than three years. During that time, Blair conceived and co-wrote Dangerfield's hit movie "Easy Money," and also played two cameo roles. His post-Dangerfield career has seen him opening for a multitude of celebrities such as Tom Jones, The Beach Boys, Garry Shandling, Joan Rivers, Gloria Estefan, Jackie Mason and George Carlin with whom he toured for more than 18 years.  Blair appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" several times and won an Emmy Award for both writing and voiceovers for the animated film "Confessions of a Standup." Meanwhile, Blair continues to headline in comedy clubs and at corporate events and open for major celebrities. He also appears from time to time in the road production of "The Rat Pack is Back" as comedian Joey Bishop.
