Described as a "comedian phenom and icon" by "Entertainment Weekly," Dane Cook will bring his unique brand of humor to the Mandalay Bay Events Center Saturday, Dec. 1. Cook's performance is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

Cook's debut album, Harmful If Swallowed, sold more than 450,000 copies in less than two years. The album is certified gold and has appeared on eight different Billboard charts. His second release, Retaliation, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, making him the highest-charting comedian in 27 years.
On December 3, 2005, Cook became one of a handful of comedians to host "Saturday Night Live" during its 32-year history. It was on that stage where Cook's performance received rave reviews and where "Saturday Night Live" received its highest ratings in two years. Most recently, HBO signed Cook to a deal that included a comedy series, specials and other projects.
Cook created, directed and starred in their nine-part comedy documentary series, "Tourgasm," and wrote, executive produced and starred in "Vicious Circle," a feature-length stand-up event.
Throughout his 17-year career, Cook has performed in front of sold-out crowds and packed houses at venues including Carnegie Hall and The Theatre at Madison Square Garden. His arrival on the cultural stage was confirmed when "Time" listed him as one of the world's "100 Most Influential People of 2006." His website, www.danecook.com, receives more than 500,000 hits per month along with his MySpace.com site which has grown to more than 1,000,000 fans.
Combining energetic physical comedy, clever wordplay and sharp observations about human behavior, Cook's unique brand of stand-up and accessible guy-next-door attitude have galvanized audiences of all ages. Cook's popularity has been further cemented by the advent of the "SU-FI" (short for SUperFInger), a hand signal based on one of his jokes that has been embraced by fans worldwide.
