The Frankie Moreno Band, a high-energy group influenced by rock, punk and funk, continues entertaining visitors at the Golden Nugget's RUSH Lounge through 2007.


The Frankie Moreno Band performs nightly Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.


"We don't play any song that any other band in town plays," said Frankie Moreno, the band's lead singer and namesake. "I don't want to sound like anybody's record."


"The Frankie Moreno Band is the perfect fit for our young, hip RUSH Lounge," said Golden Nugget spokesman Justin McVay. "This latest sensation to the rock world really packs the house."


"I like to keep it raw," said Moreno. "We don't work off set lists and really enjoy playing to the crowd that's in that night."
