WHAT: World-renowned house DJ and music producer, Armand Van Helden, will be making a special appearance at TAO Beach's "Sunset Sessions" on Sunday, June 29.


WHO: Grammy Award nominated DJ, producer and remixer Armand Van Helden is responsible for producing multiple top-40 dance hits on the UK charts including "U Don't Know Me," "My My My" and "I Want Your Soul." As one of the top in-house producers for the Strictly Rhythm label during the early '90s, Van Helden joined such names as Todd Terry, Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Masters at Work and George Morel to record a number of club hits. He achieved his first big underground hit in 1994 when he released, "Witch Doktor," which became a dance floor hit around the world and introduced him to a larger club audience. In addition, his remix of Tori Amo's "Professional Widow," garnered him commercial success as it topped the UK singles chart. Van Helden has also remixed for artists such as P.Diddy, Janet Jackson and Britney Spears. Over the course of his career, Van Helden has released several successful albums. His latest album "Ghettoblaster" features Fat Joe in the album's first single, "Touch Your Toes." The public is encouraged to attend this special event to see Armand Van Helden in action.
