Hard To Get Las Vegas Shows and Show Ticket Tips:

Buy well in advance, but remember: some tickets are not released more than three months ahead. Keep checking back. For reserved seat shows (most Las Vegas shows), the earlier you buy, the better the seats.

AccessVegas.Com Las Vegas Tips: Booking Travel Online

Is it safe? What about travel agents? How does it work?

I've Never Booked Travel Online. Is It Safe?

Yes, and for a few great reasons:

    1. Have you ever given your credit card to a waiter at a restaurant, or perhaps made a purchase or reservation over the phone? These are real humans and while usually honest, they now have your name, credit card info, address, and everything else the would need to misuse your credit card.

    2. When you book online, you are dealing strictly with computers. You enter your information right where you are sitting, and it is encrypted and sent to the travel company computer. Encrypting means the information is scrambled, and this is similar encryption to what the military uses.

The travel company computer sends information to reservations computers to confirm that your reservation (hotel | car | airfare | golfing | tours) with your credit card and issue you reservations details and a confirmation number. Generally no humans involved.

    3. Besides convenience, using your credit card is the safe way to make travel and other major purchases. You are specifically protected from fraud either from a stolen card or from a company not honoring the sales agreement. While you should contact your credit card company for specific details, using a credit card gives you that safety and convenience.

I've Always Used A Travel Agent

While a travel agent can be helpful, they no longer have access to many air, hotel, and other discount rates that are offered only online.

Since they need to maximize their commissions, they may be more interested in booking you on something more profitable to them than perhaps the best or cheapest to meet your desires.

Travel agents do get to travel often, but how much do they know about your destination really? When you use our online guide, you get up-to-date accurate information from people who live in Las Vegas and spend substantial time keeping up on every aspect.

We're not just reading it to you out of some outdated tour guide or telling you what it was like when we visited two years ago. We live here and we know Las Vegas so take advantage of our wealth of info!

So Exactly How Does This Work?

We have deals your travel agent probably can't match, and we make it easy to find them.

For great hotel room rates, go to our Discount Hotel Rooms page by clicking here: Discount Hotel Rooms. You simply click on the city you would like to visit (or the "more cities" link if you don't see your city up front). From there, you can enter your travel dates and get a listing of all the available hotels and rates for that time.

A page (or pages) of results will come up listing the hotels and pricing. You can click on a hotel's name for more information about the hotel, or click on go ahead and book your room. You enter your contact information, credit card number, submit the information, and your reservation is confirmed in less than a minute! You can do this anytime day or night, weekends, holidays ... the internet never closes.

Very important: The confirmation page that comes up will have the confirmation of your details, your confirmation number for the reservation, and customer support phone numbers and other information.

Print that page out or write down the information if no printer. We give you access to a number of travel partners so you can get the very best deal, and you need their specific customer support and confirmation numbers if you have any questions or wish to make any changes.

I'm Not Comfortable with "E-Tickets" And Such. I Want A Paper Ticket.

Many airlines and other companies no longer issue paper tickets, or charge an extra fee to do so.

If you make an airline reservation with a specific airline, they will have you write down your flight information, confirmation number, and then just send you a paper copy of your itinerary. At the airport you use your ID to get on the flight. If there are any problems or changes you simply refer to your confirmation number.

Our travel partners work the same way: When you book, you simply print out or copy down your itinerary and confirmation number. Then they email you your itinerary and confirmation once again, along with any specific details you need to know (IE Where to pick up show tickets, where to be for pickup for a tour).

Very important: Make sure you carefully enter your email address when you book. If you don't have one, you can use a friend's with the understanding that any correspondence regarding your reservation will be emailed to them.
