Hard To Get Las Vegas Shows and Show Ticket Tips:
Buy well in advance, but remember: some tickets are not released more than
three months ahead. Keep checking back. For reserved seat shows (most Las Vegas shows),
the earlier you buy, the better the seats.

Las Vegas Concierge Service
Concierge - Who, what? If you have aren't familiar with a concierge or worried that this is an expensive service only for high rollers, read on! A concierge is the person at the hotel who can help you get reservations to that special restaurant, arrange that golf outing, or secure those last minute show and concert tickets.
Standard tip for their services is $5-20 depending on how complex the plans you asked them to work out.
If they get you basic show tickets or arrange a simple dining reservation, tipping on the low end is fine. If you asked them to arrange a days worth of events or to see if they can get reservations to a fine restaurant that is booked, perhaps reward them with more. Some concierges have special connections for tickets to sold out shows or concerts. In that case, a 10% tip on the total cost is not out of line.
Something to keep in mind: If all of the above seems cheap for all the work they are doing, remember that they get a referral fee or other considerations from the restaurants, golf courses, and ticket brokers they work with.
Of course, the best option is to secure your plans before you arrive. Scrambling for tickets or reservations may be a cute stunt to try impress your girlfriend/wife with, she'll be a lot more happy if you come to town with solid plans all set to go. Also, booking ahead of time will provide the most availability for all activities.
