Liberace Museum
Included in the world-famous collections are eighteen rare and antique pianos, including a rhinesone-encrusted Baldwin grand. Liberace's favorite piano is also not to be missed, a remarkable concert grand covered entirely in glittering mirror squares. Did you love Liberace's lavish costumes? Take a peek at the remarkable costume collection and jewelry display. Liberace's incredible, rhinestone-lined, full-length Black Diamond Mink cape and a 200-pound "King Neptune" costume are featured as well as the world-famous red, white and blue hot pants suite. The jewelry display is breathtaking and includes a dazzling white and yellow gold piano-shaped ring, complete with 260 individually set diamonds, as well Liberace's spectacular piano-shaped wristwatch, paved in a glittering collection of diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds in addition to the trademark candelabra ring, complete with platinum "candlesticks" and diamond "flames." The Car Gallery showcases elaborately ornate cars from the one-of-a-kind Rolls-Royce covered in thousands of mirror tiles to a rhinestone covered customized car. The Liberace Museum is open: Tuesday through Saturday 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. and Sunday from 12:00pm to 4:00p.m. Closed Mondays, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Admission to the Liberace Museum is $15 for adults and $10 for seniors age 65 and older, and students with valid ID. Museum and Foundation members and children ages 10 and under are free. Nevada residents receive free admission the second Sunday of each month. The Museum also presents a "A Musical Tribute to Liberace," On With The Show starring Wes Winters featuring live piano performances and song to commemorate Liberace's life and legacy every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday at 1 p.m., and admission price is $17.50 per person.
